Is peace of mind directly related to the healthy body? The answer is Yes! It is true. A healthy mind can reside in a healthy body, as the matter of fact a healthy mind can create healthy body. But an unstable or full of problems mind can never be at peace and let the body be at peace. It always looks for external factors to soothe the mind and then get the feeling of relaxation through that. A very common example, when one is working with full concentration, the entire body can feel the tension and we actually forget to eat or drink water for hours long, which is not a case normally. This is how we can say that the mind rules our body. It can make or break our body because the state of mind can be reflected in our daily behavior. We can be very much relaxed or happy when the mind is relaxed. The stress and tensions can lead to disturbed bodily routine. The mind can play games with our body if we let it do so. Another example of emotions controlling body is, a stressful situation the mind seeks solace in the external factors like recreation or substances which offer temporary relaxation from existing anguish.

This is called Dual Diagnosis, which means, major mental health disorders and alcohol or substance addictions at the same time. The concept can be used broadly to describe, for example depression and alcoholism, or it can be very well restricted to specify severe mental illness such as psychosis, schizophrenia and substance misuse disorder e.g. cannabis abuse or a person who has a milder mental illness and a drug dependency, such as panic disorder or generalized anxiety disorder and is dependent on opioids. In short this term broadly means use of drugs and severe mental illness combined together. A dual diagnosis treatment center is a place which aims at healing mind and body together to fight it out. There are various dual diagnosis rehab which help in dealing effectively with this illness. The problem for professional counselors and mental health care providers in trying to help these patients is making an accurate diagnosis due to their variations in moods. This disorder does not only affect the adults, but also teen. This disorder does not affect the adults only but also the youth.
